The Federal Youth Authority (FYA) launched the ‘Youth Leaders Path’ programme as part of its ‘Emirates Youth Professional School’ initiative, in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Education and in collaboration with a select group of public- and private-sector establishments.
The programme aims to build a sustainable national ecosystem to scout promising leadership talents, develop their capabilities, and nurture a generation of Emirati youth capable of self-leadership and equipped to make a positive impact on their surroundings and play an active role in serving the community and shaping the nation’s future.
Targeting youth aged 13 to 18, the programme offers participants a phased journey that combines learning, application, and leadership experiences. It is based on six pillars: Identity and Values, Self-Leadership, Communication and Influence, Leading Teams and Collaboration, Community Work and Impact, and Future and Digital Skills. This structure contributes to strengthening national identity and Emirati values, enhancing social responsibility and community participation, and developing future skills.
The programme kicks off in 2026 with the ‘Foundation Track’, which allows over 1,000 young men and women to experience the Digital Phase of the programme via a dedicated electronic platform. From this group, 40 participants aged 13 to 15 will be selected to transition to an advanced, in-person experience.
The journey will then expand in 2027 with the launch of the ‘Empowerment Track’ for the 16-to-18 age group. The model aims to prepare 240 young leaders by 2028, building a sustainable base of young leaders capable of contributing to the nation’s priorities and shaping its future.
The Federal Youth Authority invites the target group of young Emirati men and women to explore the programme’s details, tracks, and admission and registration requirements via the official platform https://ylp.eservices.fya.gov.ae/, or through social media channels.
Registration for the ‘Foundation Track’ of the programme begins today, Monday, 28 September 2026, and will remain open until Monday, 30 November 2026.
