The Federal Youth Authority (FYA) has officially accredited the ‘Al Multaqa 21’ Youth Space at the Emirates Health Services (EHS) Training and Development Centre, as part of its Youth Spaces initiative, launched to leverage existing facilities across public and private establishments, and turn them into dedicated platforms where young people can learn, network, exchange expertise, and develop initiatives.
‘Al Multaqa 21’ presents a unique model that combines a dedicated Youth Space with an Innovation Lab. By doing so, it provides a comprehensive, integrated environment that enables youth to transition from simply exchanging ideas to actively developing, testing, and transforming them into viable initiatives and solutions.
Furthermore, the new Youth Space allows young talents to benefit from diverse expertise, partnerships, and modern technologies, thereby enhancing their role in the advancement of both their work environment and the broader health sector.
The launch event for ‘Al Multaqa 21’ featured an interactive AI-powered experience, activities by the Scientific Club, the ‘Medi Match AI’ challenge, and a workshop titled ‘Innovation in Healthcare’, organised in collaboration with Microsoft. These activities allowed participants to explore AI applications and modern technologies, empowering them to employ these tools in developing innovative healthcare-related solutions.
The EHS Youth Council will play a key role in activating the ‘Al Multaqa 21’ Youth Space by organising programmes, sessions, workshops, and innovative activities. The Council will connect youth from various specialisations and medical facilities with leading experts and partners, enabling them to develop their skills and ideas, and transform them into practical initiatives and projects. This active engagement reinforces the space’s role as a sustainable platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and innovation in the national health sector.
