His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, has authorised the first Youth Space in the Emirate of Sharjah, named ‘Lammah Space’, as part of the wider Youth Spaces initiative, which aims to establish, authorise, and enhance high-quality environments dedicated to young people.
‘Lammah Space’ is designed to offer an interactive platform that embraces innovators and idea pioneers, marking a pivotal step towards building a supportive ecosystem that contributes to developing their capabilities and leveraging them to achieve a positive impact in the community.
The Youth Spaces initiative represents a notable, innovative step towards establishing a recognised national framework for youth-specific facilities. It ensures the availability of high-quality venues, services, and programmes that meet the youth’s diverse needs across the UAE, offering safe and motivating environments, fully equipped with all resources needed to enable their growth and allow them to make effective contributions to the community. The initiative offers young people a platform to be creative and innovate, guaranteeing equal access for all youth and empowering them to shape their own future.
Authorising these Youth Spaces in accordance with the highest standards reflects a commitment to delivering an ideal environment that aligns with the directives of the National Youth Agenda 2031 – and particularly, its focus on quality of life – thereby reinforcing the UAE’s role as a leading supporter of youth development.
