In cooperation with the Federal Youth Authority (FYA), the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) launched the ‘Promising Talents’ platform, with an aim to empower and invest in young national talents across UAE federal government entities and better prepare them for the future, in line with government directives to develop a competent human capital, capable of navigating future transformations.
Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the platform operates as a smart tool designed to implement the General Framework for Managing Promising Talents, transforming it from a strategic agenda into a practical, measurable, and implementable operational model. It does so by automating talent management processes, and linking candidate profiles with the ‘Bayanati’ human resources management information system and ‘Jahiz’ – the largest digital upskilling platform in the UAE, in addition to digitally tracking candidates’ journey from discovery and assessment, through empowerment and investment, to retention.
Furthermore, the platform provides analytical performance data and indicators that allow for measuring impact, enhancing efficiency in implementation efforts, and supporting data-driven decision-making.
‘Promising Talents’ is a smart digital platform dedicated to the automated and comprehensive management of promising young talents across all stages of the approved General Framework for Managing Promising Talents, which facilitates efforts to align discovery, development, and empowerment processes across federal entities.
Moreover, it serves to further consolidate national efforts aimed at nurturing and developing talent, thereby establishing an innovative government model for talent management that focuses on readiness and sustainability.
The ‘Promising Talents’ platform targets Human Resources departments across ministries and federal entities, enabling them to recruit and manage promising young candidates, strongly aligning talent management vision and practice, and supporting efforts to train future leaders capable of making meaningful contributions to strategic government plans and projects.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources called on all ministries and federal entities to use the platform to identify their promising youth talents aged 35 and under, and set clear plans to empower, develop, and retain them. The Authority noted that a unified federal database for promising talents will be established to support strategic planning and enhance sustainability in federal human capital management processes.
