In the presence of His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, the Emirates Youth Council for Agriculture organised the Agriculture Ambassadors initiative in collaboration with national government and private-sector institutions.
The initiative is designed to empower youth in the agriculture sector, train them on the latest agricultural practices and technologies, and enhance their role in supporting national food security. It included a series of training workshops, field tours, and educational sessions with experts and entrepreneurs in the agriculture sector, which provided young people with direct exposure to innovations and modern technologies that help develop agriculture in the UAE.
Moreover, the event saw the launch of the Emirates Youth Council for Agriculture’s strategy for 2025-2027, outlining the Council’s priorities and directions for that period, with a strong focus on supporting agricultural innovation, empowering qualified young professionals, and enhancing youth participation in efforts to strengthen national food security.
The Agriculture Ambassadors initiative forms part of the Federal Youth Authority’s efforts to support and empower Emirati youth across various vital sectors, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to nurturing a generation capable of innovation and effective contribution to sustainable development.
