As part of ‘The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World’ national campaign, His Excellency Khalid Al Nuaimi, Director of the Federal Youth Authority (FYA), approved the first Youth Space specialised in social entrepreneurship, which is located at the Athar Plus (Athar+) centre, part of the Authority of Social Contribution (Ma’an) in Abu Dhabi.
This Space aims to empower youth to design sustainable social projects that help drive the development journey forward and enhance prosperity in the community. It seeks to promote innovation and entrepreneurship as a culture and national practice, reinforcing the youth’s role in shaping a more sustainable future.
The Youth Space was launched in line with national directives to support innovative youth-led initiatives and provide stimulating environments that enable young people to turn their ideas into projects with a positive social and economic impact. This, in turn, embodies the spirit of social responsibility and aligns with the UAE’s vision to empower younger generations to play their part as a key partner in development.
